Lee Beckelman - Advisory Director

Lee Beckelman has joined NBT Financial Bank in Fort Worth as an Advisory Director. Lee played football for the University of Texas with our Chairman Steve Eargle, and they have remained friends for many years. Upon Lee's graduation from the University of Texas, he began working for Texas Commerce Bank as a loan officer and credit analyst. Employment followed in the oil and gas industry at various companies.  He is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Smart Sand, Inc. a position he has held since 2014. The company, which is publicly traded, owns and operates sand mine and related production facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois. Lee and his family currently maintain two residences, one in Spicewood, TX, and one in Fort Worth, TX. Lee’s service to the UT system includes serving as a member of the advisory board for Master of Finance Program and as the Finance Committee Chair for the UT Alumni Association aka Texas-Exes.
