Mr. Steve Parker has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors for NBT.  Mr. Parker is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington and of Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.  Prior to coming to NBT Mr. Parker was an Examiner with the FDIC, Vice President at Texas Independent Bank, Dallas and Executive Vice President at Lake Worth National Bank.  In 1989 Mr. Parker joined First National Bank of Azle (later known as First Bank), where he was an Executive Vice President.  Mr. Parker was promoted to President and CEO of First Bank in 2004 and remained in that role until 2009.  Mr. Parker joined NBT in September 2010 as President of NBT’s Azle location where he continued to serve until his retirement in December of 2017.  Mr. Parker was elected to the board in March of 2011.  He has over 40 years of banking experience.
